‘Cheer’ star Jerry Harris has been arrested on production of child pornography charges, as stated by the U.S. Attorney’s office in Chicago Thursday (September 17).
As has been widely reported, the now-21-year-old actor allegedly requested pornographic images and videos be sent to him from two 14-year-old boys. Upon discovery of the exchange by the boys’ parents, they filed an official complaint which led to an investigation by local authorities.

Reports have it one of the teens allegedly sent Harris over a dozen sexually explicit photos between December 2018 and March 2020 – an exchange that saw the actor reply in kind.
More damning evidence arrived when the ‘Cheer’ star allegedly solicited oral sex from one of the teens in a bathroom at an in-person cheerleading event they attended.
FBI agents reportedly executed a search warrant Monday afternoon (September 14) at a home in the Chicagoland area as part of the investigation. The information collected there led to Harris’ arrest on September 17.
As of time reported, he has not issued a statement about his graduated legal woes.
