Nene Leakes has confirmed the murmurs: she will not be part of the ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta.’
And by the tone and choice of her words, it looks like her exit may be final in more ways than one.

Moments ago, the reality star took to her YouTube page to formally announce that – after lengthy negotiations – she will not be a cast member of the Bravo show’s upcoming 13th season.
Perhaps most notable, though, was how thoroughly she bid adieu – almost as if she’s left entirely.
Also of note was Leakes’ vague-but-noticeable insistence that she had no part in a recent report claiming that she isn’t set to sue Bravo as part of a rumored discrimination suit along with other dismissed + disgruntled stars. Things that make you go hmm.

As reported, Drew Sidora and LaToya Ali are filming with the ladies of ATL and have been for the last two months.

Harsh as it may sound, we’re here for it.
Anyone who has watched recent seasons can attest to how awkward Leakes’ presence has been for the the cast, viewers, and herself.
It’s clear her issues with the ladies make for a hella tense atmosphere – and not in the entertaining way.
The irony is that the warmth and lightness vibrating from her in the video above are exactly what would have served as a redemption of sorts on the show. But, alas, the situation is what it is.

She’s an original. These old boring white women get to float on their shows for as long as they want but someone ENTERTAINING wasn’t afforded the same. Everything moves forward and I get that but she was no worse than any of the other girls on this show. It’ll help or hurt the show, time will tell.
Who cares how original she is. You never bite the hand that feeds you & Bravo has been feeding her GOOD for years. She became a monster and I know Bravo is happy that she’s gone. Nene loves to say someone’s playing checkers well evidently she was playing Go Fish because her peach is gone. Oh and btw ratings have been declining every season since she returned.
Boring white women? Better than barking like an old dying dog at plus 50 years old with adult children.
I will not be watching nene made the show it kills how these strong women start these shows like mariah with married to medicine get these wanna be a chance and bravo allows them to take over

Just cancel the show all together. RHOA has run its course. Watching old hens sit around bickering and cackling was sooo 2013. Judging by the ratings, viewership agrees. Reality TV is dying.

Bravo has put all their eggs in the wrong basket. They’re banking on a Kenya+Porcha beef, Kandi being the bone collector which she’s doing a bad job at, no one is clear if Cynthia will be coming back or be a friend of the show, and no one else is even entertaining. I can’t remember if there’s even other cast members and the new friends of the are not promising. It might as well only be about 4 episodes and the reunion can be part of “Watch What Happens Live”.
