‘The Oval’ star Ciera Payton transforms into Wendy Williams for the shock jock-turned-daytime talk show host’s authorized biopic, ‘Wendy Williams: The Movie.’

Directed by Darren Grant, the television movie – set to premiere on Lifetime January 30 – will not only chronicle the 56-year-old’s publicized highs and lows (see:  divorce drama, health issues, etc.) but will also be accompanied by a feature-length documentary titled ‘The Wendy Williams Story…What a Mess!’

      I agree, I see no Aretha in the clips that I’ve seen of her movie…doesn’t seem as though Jennifer was able to capture Aretha’s essence at all; but I guess there’s a chance that I’m wrong since I’ve only seen clips.
