Mariah Huq is reportedly trying to drag Bravo to court over ‘Married To Medicine.’

According to All About The Tea, the reality star filed a discrimination and intellectual property lawsuit against Bravo, its parent company NBC, as well as production entities Fremantle and Purveyors of Pop.
Within she alleges the listed stole her concept for the show without paying her royalties or crediting her come the time of spin-off editions of the franchise.
Huq argues in the paperwork: “the defendants acted illegally and unethically which includes but is not limited to – 1) unauthorized exploitation of “Married To Medicine” & Married To Medicine the Series, 2) Breach of Contract, 3) Breach of joint Venture Agreement, 4) breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, 5) failure to prevent retaliation and harassment.”
The move comes after Huq – whose presence on the show has polarized viewers – revealed she hadn’t received a contract for season 8 of the show.

Huq appears to be following in the footsteps of fellow polarizer Nene Leakes – and taking matters a step further.
For, the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ original made headlines for asking fans to both boycott and march against Bravo after alleging she was pushed out from the show.

Mariah created the M2M franchise and she has not been paid proper royalties as creator, and EP. She has hired entertainment attorney Brian Freeman who also represented Gabrielle Union who also sued NBC Universal who is the parent company of Bravo. Believe me when I say a settlement will be reached.
I think she knew what she was getting into when she did it. And that the role she played was playenout anyway
Andy Cohen and Bravo has been doing alot of shady💩 to alot of the women of color, also since Carlos stop writing for Bravo, the storylines has been Dry, shady, and hateful. Your report is extremely biased because a lot of Married to Medicine viewers love Mariah and what she gave to the show. So you can’t speak for me, or for the viewers that like her. Also it’s wrong for you to compare her to Nene Leakes. Mariah thought that she had a strong enough legal complaint that warranted the filing of a lawsuit that the Judge has yet to dismiss. Mariah, was a plus to M2M, that show has went downhill, since she left, really i haven’t seen it at all, if she was the creator, then how is BRAVO, gonna try to push her out and not compensate her, yet take it from her, BRAVO getting to be a real B****, i would sue them til i can’t sue no more, she’ll get her just-do, the ones they should have fired , was that damn mouthy HEAVENLY, JACKIE, and QUAD, can’t stand HEAVENLY and MARIAH brought that devil to the show, treated NeNe the same way, and look at RHOA, it’s pitiful, no hype, no interesting storyline, just sadc LOL, but that’s what BRAVO deserves.

I’m glad that Mariah is taking a stand for what is due to her. I feel that she was unfairly treated from the first time she was removed from the show including this past season, it appears that if you’re not the favorite you’re pushed out. There’s a couple of individuals who should have been fired but I guess the powers that be like the messiness that they bring. Mariah along with Toya were the real stars of M2M, I say press on Mariah and I hope that you get everything you ask for in your lawsuit. It appears that there’s racial inequality toward strong black womens in M2M, RHOP & RHOA.
