Dwayne Johnson may be Hollywood’s most bankable box office star, but that hasn’t quelled his ambition.
For, he’s teamed with NBC to bring his life story to screens in the form of new sitcom ‘Young Rock.’
Aptly titled, the show (which Johnson narrates) is based on his humble beginnings and journey as a pro-wrestler.
Set to premiere on February 16 the first look trailer has been unleashed.
Head below to see what The Rock is cooking with his latest venture.

‘Young Rock’ is anchored by Bradley Constant as 15-year-old Johnson, Uli Latukefu as 18-20-year-old Johnson, and Adrian Groulx as 10-year-old Johnson.
Speaking on the show, The Rock said:
“Ladies and gents, here’s your first look at @nbcyoungrock.
I really wish my dad was around to see this one. Maaaaan he would’ve been proud.
And yes, I was clearly kicking puberty’s ass at 15yrs old and becoming a tequila tycoon by the time I was 10 😂🥃🤦🏽♂️
I can’t wait to make you and your families laugh a little and share some life lessons I’ve learned along the way.”

Per the trailer, this seems like fresh take on the ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ format that Chris Rock pulled off in the mid 00s. We’re here for it and will be tuning in. Will you?
Mmmmm something big is coming…… 🍆 I will watch it if the series titled “Young C o c k” the Black guy on left is yummy tho
I’m surprised he would a show that would do away with his ambiguity. His relied on that for so long….
