Donald Glover is making moves and his latest step sees him team-up with Amazon Studios for a colossal, multi-dimensional deal.
And the reported first fruit of the union will no doubt have Beyonce‘s BeyHive buzzing.

THR reports that Glover has signed a whopping 8-figure deal with Amazon, after exiting a similar first-look pact with FX (home of his critically-acclaimed series ‘Atlanta’).
The new partnership is said to be vast, comprising new work housed at the studio, a content channel spotlighting Glover’s existing work (such as his 2019 Amazon release ‘Guava Island’), and other curated content on the company’s Prime Video destination.
A pact with Stephen Glover (the star’s brother and fellow ‘Atlanta’ writer/producer) also forms part of the overall deal.
So, one may be wondering: how does Beyonce tie into this?
Well, the wheels are said to already be in motion for a “potential series” named ‘Hive.’
With writer Janine Nabers at the helm, the project will reportedly “revolve around a Beyonce-like figure.”
Staffing is said to be underway and interestingly Malia Obama (oldest daughter of Barack and Michelle) is reportedly “among those recruited to work on the series.”

Glover’s deal, which sources say was signed within the last few weeks, comes on the heels of a similar super partnership Amazon struck with Michael B. Jordan.
The Beyonce component is interesting, given that the pair starred alongside each other in Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ – which grossed over $1 Billion at the global box office.
