If there’s one film drumming up ample buzz during this award season it’s ‘One Night In Miami.’
Directed by the formidable Regina King, the powerful Prime Video drama chronicles a real-life night in 1964 shared by four of Black history’s most prominent figures – Malcolm X, Sam Cooke, Jim Brown, and Muhammad Ali.
Tipped for Oscars glory and already nominated for Golden Globes, SAG, NAACP, and Critics Choice awards, the movie is widely considered a front-runner.
Ahead of the film’s anticipated triumph, That Grape Juice‘s Chet Kincaid sat down with Kingsley Ben-Adir (X), Aldis Hodge (Brown), and Eli Goree (Ali) to discuss their respective roles and the process of piecing together one of this season’s most potent offerings.

This was an excellent film, and I highly recommend it. Most of the movie takes place in a hotel room in Miami circa 1964 — a Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf-style conversation representing 4 perspectives of the black experience of the 60s, but which is still relevant in 2021.
“Relevant in 2021” SCREAMING!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Shut up you fool 🤣💯🤳🏽
You are such a loser…cause you can hide behind the Internet what a sad life you have
