Michael B. Jordan‘s career continues to grow from strength to strength.
Already a huge box office draw, the multi-dimensional talent has taken a more active role in ownership and the activation of change behind the camera by way of his production company Outlier Society.
The next chapter in the latter is a major one. Because Jordan has teamed Outlier with Amazon for a seismic multi-year, multi-layered partnership.

Per an announcement today, the 33-year-old and his company have into a first-look film deal and an overall television deal with Amazon Studios.
The first fruit of the venture is Jordan’s newest movie ‘Without Remorse’ – an action-thriller based on Tom Clancy’s 1993 novel of the same name. It’ll be landing on Amazon’s Prime Video worldwide on April 30.
Additionally, the partnership will see Outlier “produce and acquire elevated films showcasing diverse, bold filmmakers and talent for the studio’s ever-growing original movies slate.”
Another confirmed component of the partnership sees Outlier and Amazon produce a Muhammad Ali limited series together with Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation. The boxing legend’s estate is on-board for the project, which Jordan will help shape behind the camera rather than in front of it.
Overall, Amazon has billed the deal as a “360-degree creative collaboration.” One that will encompass film and TV, as well as Amazon’s wide range of businesses — from fashion to Audible to music and more. His well-received Alexa Super Bowl ad (below) is touted as one of many incoming team-ups.
Jordan said of the partnership:
