25 years after EMMY & Golden Globe Award-winning actress Glenn Close portrayed Cruelle de Vil (of ‘101 Dalmations’) in the iconic villainess’ first live action depiction, Disney’s unveiled the trailer to her origin story – the newest live action adaptation of one of their classic animated films.
Starring Academy Award winner Emma Stone as the titular character, ‘Cruella’ – set in London in the 1970’s – tells the tale of the fur loving fashionista’s early days and flair for fabrics, a love affair that eventually leads to mayhem and mischief as she steps to the dark side in pursuit of success.

As revealed by the trailer, the cast is filled out by Academy Award winner Emma Thompson, British actor Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Emily Beecham.
