‘Judas and the Black Messiah’ is glowing after its triumph at the Golden Globes.
And with award season in full swing, the Warner Bros production is widely tipped to make waves at the Oscars too.
The film, which relays the real-life narrative of iconic civil rights leader/Black Panther Party Chairman Fred Hampton, has proven especially potent as it has arrived amidst global dialogue about racial injustice.
With the praise continuing to pour in, That Grape Juice‘s Samuel Eni caught up with Lakeith Stanfield – who plays Bill O’Neal, the FBI informant whose actions led to Hampton’s demise.
During the candid conversation, Stanfield opened up about transforming into such a complicated character, working with Daniel Kaluuya (who plays Hampton), Oscar buzz, and much more.

‘Judas and the Black Messiah’ is available to rent at home from March 11 (UK)
