Issa Rae continues to make major moves.

And she’s racking up major millions in the process.

According to Variety, Rae has extended her relationship with the media juggernaut by signing a new five-year overall deal that brings her Hoorae media entity in partnership with WarnerMedia.

The vast and all-encompassing pact will grant HBO, HBO Max and Warner Bros. Television exclusive rights to Rae’s TV output.

It also includes a first-look film deal that provides WarnerMedia brands – such as Warner Bros. Pictures Group, New Line and HBO Max – first dibs on Rae’s movie projects.

While the creative has partnered with Warner’s HBO in the past (including multi-year deals in 2016 and 2018), this serves as the most expansive team-up the entities have embarked on yet.

Speaking in a statement, the ‘Insecure’ mastermind said:

“It’s really exciting to have that flexibility and just deepen the relationship that we already have. Hoorae already had at least 15 projects in various stages of development with them, so we’d been working with them on the drama side, the unscripted side, and the documentaries side for a couple years now.”

The news comes ahead of the fifth and final season of ‘Insecure’ and as Rae readies brand new show ‘Rap Sh*t.
