According to Page Six, a source said:
“Sharon is walking away with a $5 to $10 million minimum payout and was able to spin that it was her decision [to leave the show].”
Another source told the publication that the TV personality is not only getting a large sum of money, but that she is also free to speak out.
“Sharon will talk when she is ready. She still wants to give her side of the story. She has been on that show for 11 years and knows all the secrets.”
The latest report comes after CBS announced that Osbourne quit ‘The Talk’ on March 26 (as we reported here).
Her departure from the show came two weeks after he got into an on-air argument with her co-host Sheryl Underwood over Osbourne’s defense of pal Piers Morgan, who was forced off his own show in Britain for too strongly attacking Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey (as we reported here).
Since the incident, former co-host Holly Robinson Pete and current co-host Sheryl Underwood have broken their silence on the matter.
While Osbourne has gone on to insist she is not racist, the damage appears to be done.
