Camila Cabello‘s big-screen acting debut in ‘Cinderella’ has been confirmed as the latest film to forgo a theatrical release.

It’s been confirmed that the Sony Pictures production, which sees the ‘Havana’ singer take on the lead role, will now premiere on Amazon‘s Prime Video.
The movie’s release was recently rescheduled to July 16. Now, it’s simply touted as arriving later this year.
‘Cinderella,’ which is directed by Kay Cannon and co-stars Billy Porter, Idina Menzel, and Pierce Brosnan, joins a growing list of “once-theater-bound” flicks to be acquired by the streamer.
And while additional details about its sparkly roll-out are pending, it’s been confirmed that Cabello will form the centerpiece of the material in the musical.
