According to the New York Post, the star was found dead in his Brooklyn apartment today (September 6) – per law-enforcement sources.

The report adds that an overdose is suspected as the possible cause, given that drug paraphernalia was found in the apartment.

Famed for his roles in shows such as ‘The Wire’ and more recently ‘Lovecraft Country,’ Williams was found dead in the living room of his Kent Avenue penthouse by his nephew.
