Jennifer Hudson is staying busy.
For, the multi-talented diva is getting ready to dip her toes into the talk show pond.
More details…
Variety reports that Hudson is pitching a new daytime talk show that is set to be produced from the team that brought audiences ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’
While the program would not be a replacement for ‘Ellen,’ it would be positioned as Warner Brothers TV’s new flagship daytime talk show.
Executive producers from ‘Ellen’ – Andy Lassner and Mary Connelly – served as show runners on Hudson’s test show.
Meetings for the show are taking place this week and it has been developed as a first-run syndicated broadcast TV daily strip.
It is worth noting that the project has no plans to pitch to other platforms, these include streaming services.
