With the world at large still locked in deep discourse about Will Smith‘s Oscar night fiasco, Chris Rock – who was on the receiving end of his slap – is adding his two cents to the debate.
Find out what the comedian had to say at his show moments ago…
Making his first public appearance since being slapped by Will during the live broadcast, the 57-year-old took to the stage in Boston for a pre-scheduled stand-up performance.
Wasting no time addressing what the globe has been waiting to hear, Chris(who received a standing ovation) began with:
“Whoa, okay! Yo, let me do the show!”
He went on to more respond to the drama, saying:
“How was your weekend? I don’t have a bunch of shit about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I have a whole show I wrote before this weekend. I’m still kind of processing what happened. So, at some point I’ll talk about that sh*t. And it will be serious and funny.”
As watched by millions, Chris threw a jab at Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith, likening her bald ‘do to the movie ‘G.I. Jane.’ It’s of note that the actress has been open about her struggles with the alopecia that made her lose her hair.
In response, Will hit the stage and ultimately hit Chris.
The fallout is ongoing and comes as the Academy begins disciplinary proceedings against Will – the outcome of which will be announced in the weeks to come.
Fúçk Willand Jada.
Yup. And they need to snatch willemina’s oscar right tf back too.
Over it! If this is what Hollywood has to offer to keep ppl tuned in, it’s safe to say this Industry is dead. This is the the type sh** you see on VH1 network.
It’s pathetic that at one time the word hell couldn’t be broadcast even in a song. Now they can say anything, even the first words they learned to say. Even their parents called them that.
It will be in the news for another month at least, because Wanda Sykes’ Ellen interview airs a week from today, and the Academy says they will render their decision three weeks from now.
Y’all are so stupid that you don’t realize there was a time that certain words were said on national TV BEFORE they decided to bleep them out. TV didn’t always used to be squeaky clean back in the day but I don’t expect any of the ignorant to know much past what’s happening today
@eric
And after airing all the toxic drama, Hollyweird will be back on the topic of mental health, lol These ppl are sick.
Tired of hearing about this ghetto ass s***
NOBODY CARES ABOUT THAT BALD B****. She’s worth 50 million alone. Buy a F****** WIG OR SHUT THE HELL UP. Why do y’all KEEP throwing her condition out there as if she deserves concern? She JUST said not even a week earlier how she doesn’t care what people think of her bald head. Look at her Instagram. If she was a normal citizen stating she had it nobody would give a flying f***! So why does she get sympathy just because she’s a celebrity? So over this rat looking b****. Hellraiser lookin ass b****
Awwww poor soul. You must not get enough love at home. Praying for you!!
Lol, The actual act of a comedian actually sitting down to write an entire comedic routine has always been funny to me all within itself in contrast to it’s free styled delivery.
LOL shut yo fat a** up and go stream flopyonce’s oscar flop song or something, stay out of grown folks business lmaooooooooo
