Sonic the Hedgehog is back for another big-screen adventure.
Set to speed into UK theaters on April 1, the film – which is aptly titled ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2‘ – sees Jim Carrey reprise his role as the blue hero’s archnemesis, Dr. Robotnik.
This sequel to the 2020 first flick sees Sonic keen to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. However, he encounters quite the hurdle when Dr. Robotnik returns with his new sidekick Knuckles. Together, the freshly minted duo embark on the hunt for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations.
Sonic pairs up with his own sidekick, Tails, and they unite on a journey across the world to locate the emerald before it lands in the wrong hands.
Ahead of the movie’s arrival, That Grape Juice’s Lettija Lee sat down with Carrey who opened up about Sonic’s latest adventure – which also stars Idris Elba, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, and Shemar Moore.
