RHOA: Sheree Whitfield Suggests Kandi Burruss Should Agree to Phaedra Parks Return for “Betterment of the Show”

Sheree Whitfield‘s return to the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ hasn’t aired just yet, but the much-loved OG is already shaking things up.

Appearing on Carlos King‘s ‘Reality With The King’ Stitcher podcast, the She By Sheree entrepreneur was quizzed by the show’s former producer about Kandi Burruss‘ intimation that she would leave RHOA if former friend Phaedra Parks was to ever return.

As widely reported, Parks was ousted from the Bravo show after a verbalized rumor spiraled into the chaos that climaxed at the season 9 reunion in 2017.

In the years since, fans have called for her return with increasing volume. But the feeling in some sects is that a comeback is being quelled by Burruss arguably sending a message of “her or me.”

Asked about this by King, Whitfield offered up an interesting response.

Check out what she had to say…

Revealing that she actually invited Parks to appear in a season 14 scene, Whitfield made clear that she feels Burruss should embrace the notion of her foe being back in the mix for the “betterment of the show.”

She said:

“We are here to do a reality show. And, as much as I love Kandi, I feel like at the end of the day, she should understand that this is for the show. We can’t be [like] ‘oh, I don’t want t talk about that’ or ‘it’s not cool, so we can’t do it.’ It’s for the betterment of the show. We have all been in uncountable and talked about sh*t that we don’t want to talk about.”

Peep the clip:

We wholeheartedly agree.

Granted a Phaedra return seems more “when” than “if,” the actual reality of the matter is that such platforms are about escapism and entertainment.

And while we don’t endorse libelous slurs, we have to balance the sentiment with the fact that folk do not tune into shows such as RHOA for kumbaya-ing.

Beyond the aspirational aspect, at the root of the entire franchise is conflict and conflict resolution.

And there’s no denying that a Kandi-Phaedra on-air reunion not only defines that but would be ratings gold.

Put simply, we agree with Shree. Do you?
