It goes without saying that ‘White Chicks’ has long stood as a comedy classic.
Helmed by brothers Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans, the 2004 film saw the dynamic pair play FBI agents who go undercover as caucasian sisters.

Appearing on The Breakfast Club to plug mew HBO Max special ‘Marlon Wayans Presents: The Headliners,’ the 49-year-old funnyman was asked about which film franchises he had an interest in returning to.
Citing titles such as ‘Scary Movie’ and ‘White Chicks’ – and went a step further to reveal why the latter has not yet come to fruition. Despite there being offers on the table.
Explaining the situation to hosts DJ Envy and Angela Yee, Marlon said:
“7 hours of make-up. We worked 14 hours after that. We slept 2 hours a day. They keep coming to us. ’Hey let’s make a White Chicks 2.’ That is a movie that makes worldwide a couple hundred million dollars.
We want to make a better, bigger movie than the first one. That’s gonna cost you. We did the first one for $35-$40 million. We got to get paid too.
We know what we would do with a sequel. We know how funny it would be. But it’s not something we’re doing for nothing. I ain’t sitting in no make-up chair, no. It’s got be worth my time. Otherwise, I make more just being a Black man making movies.”
Would you be checking for a ‘White Chicks’ sequel?
