Issa Rae is set to heat up screens this summer with her brand new show, ‘Rap Sh!t.’
Serving as the ‘Insecure’ maestra’s newest creation, this series chronicles the story of two estranged high school friends from Miami, Shawna (Aida Osman) and Mia (KaMillion).
Reuniting to form a Rap group, they’re tasked with navigating layered lives, complex dynamics, Black womanhood, and a music world that is both alluring and ruthless.
As reported, Hip-Hop duo the City Girls are on-board as co-executive producers.

Yup. If ‘queens’ had a network like HBO with similar nuances like ‘entourage’ or ‘ballers’ it probably would have been a lot better.

For once, I agree. The acting is super CORNY & overdone. If you were raised in the burbs and went too expensive colleges, imitating a ratchet chick is lame AF.
