The star made headlines after driving her car through a Los Angeles home last Friday (August 5). On the same day, the Daytime Emmy winner was involved in another hit and run.

Per TMZ (who cited police sources), the mom of two and former girlfriend of Ellen DeGeneres was under the influence of cocaine and possibly fentanyl too.

After initially being placed in a coma, her family has issued a statement confirming her passing. It read:

“We have lost a bright light, a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother, and a loyal friend. Anne will be deeply missed but she lives on through her beautiful sons, her iconic body of work, and her passionate advocacy. Her bravery for always standing in her truth, spreading her message of love and acceptance, will continue to have a lasting impact.”
