Boseman, who died at 43 after a private battle with colon cancer, won the Emmy for Outstanding Character Voice-Over for his performance as T’Challa in the animated series ‘What If…?’ from Marvel / Disney+.
The ‘Black Panther’ star’s wife Taylor Simone Leonard was on hand at the Los Angeles event and accepted the award on his behalf. Per Deadline, she is reported as saying: “Chad would be so honored and I am honored on his behalf.”
