As one of comedy’s most legendary names, Chris Rock has conquered a multitude of mediums.

And the innovation continues.

For, the funnyman has teamed with Netflix for a game-changing special.

Set for early 2023, the special will be historic in that it will serve as the streamer’s first ever live globally broadcast event.

 Additional details will be unwrapped at a later date.

Speaking on the special, Robbie Praw, Netflix Vice President of Stand-up and Comedy Formats said:

“Chris Rock is one of the most iconic and important comedic voices of our generation. We’re thrilled the entire world will be able to experience a live Chris Rock comedy event and be a part of Netflix history. This will be an unforgettable moment and we’re so honored that Chris is carrying this torch.”

As yet untitled, the special serves as the comic’s second for Netflix following 2018’s ‘Chris Rock: Tamborine.’
