‘Luther’ is back! And this time in movie form.

Idris Elba reprises the titular role he made famous in the like-titled TV series, which ran from 2010-2019 and earned him a Golden Globe amongst many prestigious awards and nominations.

Set to premiere on Netflix in  March 2023, the film incarnation of ‘Luther’ is being executive produced by Elba and finds Jamie Payne on directorial duty.

Plot details for the new chapter of the psychological thriller are being kept under wraps, but it’s been confirmed that the likes of Cynthia Erivo, Andy Serkis, and Dermot Crowley will be joining Elba on board the hotly anticipated production.
