As is custom, the series gives ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ favorites a chance at redemption as well as a renewed spell in the spotlight.
Competing to be Queen of Queens (and bag the $200,000 cash prize) will be (in alphabetical order):
Alexis Michelle (season 9), Darienne Lake (season 6), Heidi N Closet (season 12), Jaymes Mansfield (season 9), Jessica Wild (season 2), Jimbo (Canada’s Drag Race season 1 and UK vs the World), Kahanna Montrese (season 11), Kandy Muse (season 13), Kandy Muse (season 13), LaLa Ri (season 13), Monica Beverly Hillz (season 5), Mrs. Kasha Davis (season 7) and Naysha Lopez (season 8).
Season 8 also brings with it a major twist.
For, viewers will now have the opportunity to vote on ‘a game within a game.’ It will see eliminated queens take part in The Fame Games in a bid to bag a weighty $50,000 consolation prize.
