After scoring high with viewers and critics alike with its inaugural season in 2021, ‘The Wonder Years’ – inspired by the classic, award-winning 80’s TV series of the same name – is set to return to screens this summer to continue telling the story of the Williams family.
Starring Elisha “EJ” Williams, Dulé Hill, Amari O’Neil, Milan Ray, Allen Maldonado, Spence Moore II, Saycon Sengbloh, Laura Kariuki, Julian Lerner, and Don Cheadle (as narrator), the 60’s-set comedy is delivered from the point of view of an imaginative Black 12-year-old who is balancing his coming-of-age narrative against the backdrop of the civil rights movement and more.
