The GRAMMY-winning diva is set to executive-produce ‘Burlesque: The Musical’ based on the 2010 film that saw her razzle and dazzle alongside Cher on the big screen.
EW reports that Xtina has been hard at work on the new adaptation of the production with Steven Antin.
It’s set to feature songs from the film (which were helmed by Aguilera, Sia, and Diane Warren), as well as new cuts crafted by Todrick Hall and Jess Foley.
Speaking on the musical, which is due to debut in the UK first, Hall shared:
“This is BIG! I’ve been secretly working on this for the past year! I guess the cat is out of the bag! Can’t wait for you all to hear the new tunes I’ve been creating! It’s always been my dream to write a musical, this is step one!”

That’s a great move! Burlesque is not art cinema but it is definitely entertaining with fun pop songs
