Nearly 10 years after racking up over $200 million at the global box office with the star-studded ‘Expendables 3‘ (featuring Wesley Snipes, Kelsey Grammer, Terry Crews, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and more), Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham have assembled a new group of combatants for the film franchise’s fourth edition.
Lined with familiar names like Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Iko Uwais, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, and Andy Gracia, the newcomers join returning cast members Dolph Lungren and Randy Couture. The official Lionsgate plotline reads:
“Armed with every weapon they can get their hands on and the skills to use them, The Expendables [an elite team of mercenaries] are the world’s last line of defense and the team that gets called when all other options are off the table. But new team members with new styles and tactics are going to give “new blood” a whole new meaning.”
