Could a ‘Moesha’ reboot finally be on the way?
During a recent press run for her latest memoir, ‘Phases’, Brandy shared on Good Morning America that she is absolutely open to revisiting one of the most beloved sitcoms of the ‘90s.

The culture-shifting series, Moesha, starred Brandy as Moesha Mitchell alongside Sheryl Lee Ralph, Countess Vaughn, and her real-life brother Ray J.
The show became a defining staple of Black television and went on to become UPN’s highest-rated series, earning major nods for its cultural impact.
Speaking on the possibility of bringing the show back, Brandy revealed that conversations have happened, but nothing has been made official just yet.
She shared:
“[We’ve] talked about it, but it hasn’t happened yet, so maybe it’s not.”
Still, she made it clear the door is far from closed, adding:
“I’m open to it. I’m open to it.”

So it’s safe to say Brandy is far from phased out on the idea of a ‘Moesha’ reboot or reunion of some kind.

Leave it be, Miss Brandy. What would be better than a Moesha reboot would be if you re-recorded all your songs like Taylor Swift did in your new grown voice. I know it would be amazing because every time you perform an old song of yours you do the damned thing, and add notes and key changes that make the song even better than it was before.
Great idea! The re-done vocals on Boy’s Mine Tour were TO DIE FOR. Even the new Hah Hah Hah staccati adlibs made Afrodisiac even more fun. Her Light-lyric Soprano is VERY connected now (vs. the darkened chest voice and scratchy upper belts she had in her younger years).
