Jeezy has broken his silence after filing for divorce from Jeannie Mai.
As reported, the rapper – born Jay Wayne Jenkins – called time on his two-year marriage to the TV host in September.
In the time since news broke of the split, Mai revealed she is taking the situation “day by day” and focussing on their daughter, Monaco.
Now, Jeezy has spoken up.

In a new statement, the MC said:
“The decision to end this chapter in my life was not made impulsively and comes with a heavy heart. Despite this, my love and respect for Jeannie remains and the time we spent together holds a cherished place in my heart.
Our beautiful daughter is the best gift from our relationship and I am committed to assuring she feels the love and stability she deserves.”
