Comic-actress Tiffany Haddish is looking to turn her pain into laughs after making headlines last week for yet another DUI arrest.
Over the weekend, Haddish rocked the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California (as captured above by TMZ).
When quizzed by an audience member about her detainment by local authorities after being found asleep behind the wheel of a car with its engine still running, the award-winning comedienne responded humorously.
“What happened last night? Ah, damn. You tell me. I don’t know,” she started. “I prayed to God to send me a man with a job. Preferably in a uniform. God answered my prayers. Because God believes in me.”
The joke mirrors one she told previously after being arrested in Georgia on similar charges.
“I can say this,” she told Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show.’ “I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man. A good man. And God went ahead and sent me four… in uniform.”
Haddish is scheduled to go to court over the first DUI charge on December 4.
