Just four months after the execs at STARZ sent dedicated viewers of ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan‘ into a frenzy with news the series has been renewed for season 4, they’re repeating the feat by announcing its early renewal for season 5!

As production on season 4 is underway, the popular series – which acts as prequel to the ‘Power’ universe arc – got an early renewal following its season 3 finale in February.
“We know that our fans can’t get enough of Raising Kanan. As the inevitable evolution of this young man into a killer plays out, we knew we had much more backstory to share in this ever-escalating family saga,” said Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming for Starz. “As we continue to expand the storytelling within the Power universe, we’re looking forward to how this story may intersect with other Power characters during this prequel era.”
‘Kanan’ stars Mekai Curtis, Patina Miller, and London Brown took to social media to share their excitement about the news.
As of time reported, no official premiere date for season 4 has been announced.
The news follows the report that the next season of ‘Power Book II: Ghost‘ will be its last.
