In a segment that’s gone viral from the ‘Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show’ on HBO, the 37-year-old made quips likening himself to a slave with his white boyfriend.
“Sometimes joke to him that our relationship is like that of a slave and a master’s son…who, like, teaches me how to read by candlelight,” Carmichael says.
And despite the joke not exactly getting the best reaction from audience members, Jerrod continued on.
“Yeah, he groans too ’cause he’s a good person. He doesn’t like that f***ing joke. I like that joke. That’s my burden, I think that s***’s hilarious,” he relayed.
Needless to say, Twitter was set ablaze after the segment aired on television earlier this week.
