Amazon’s Prime Video is doubling down on its commitment to ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ starring Donald Glover.
A refreshed take on the movie of the same name, the show follows a faux couple who are paired by a spy agency and enter an undercover marriage. A high-octane combination of romance and drama followed suit.
Having launched in January, the streamer has announced that the series has been picked up for season 2.

The news was trumpeted at the Amazon Prime Video Upfronts today (May 14).
Interestingly, Glover – who executive produces the show – will not be starring in season 2 – nor will his co-lead Maya Erskine.
