Lee Daniels takes the directorial helm of Netflix’s compelling “faith-based thriller,” ‘The Deliverance.’
Set in Indiana, the rivetting film tells the story of Ebony (Andra Day) who moves into a new home with her mother Alberta (Glenn Close) as well as her three children Nate (Caleb McLaughlin), Shante (Demi Singleton) and Andre (Anthony B. Jenkins).
Already faced with life’s challenges, Ebony is met with an entirely new set of problems when a series of demonic occurrences take the family on a ride… to hell.
That Grape Juice’s Chet Kincaid caught up with Caleb McLaughlin, who opened up about his experience on set, how his own faith and outlook impacted his approach to his character, and receiving advice from co-stars Day, Close, and Mo’Nique.
Watch the EXCLUSIVE interview above and be sure to stream ‘The Deliverance’ on Netflix.
