The drama started during the premiere of ‘Othello‘, a play produced by Kandi Burruss and starring Denzel Washington, which has made headlines due to the rumored tension between Long and Shepherd.
According to host Long, an “unnamed” actress approached her at the premiere, grabbed her arm, and forcefully turned her around, telling her, “You’ve been shading me a lot.”
Shepherd did not specify a name, but many online deemed it to be Long based on who was in attendance.
Speaking about the encounter on her show, revealing,
“I went to the bathroom during intermission and waited for 15 minutes for a meeting in the ladies’ room. You don’t get to grab me and turn me around like we’re in a cartoon and just walk away.”
She added:
“I’m from Chicago, and I don’t play like that.”
It’s unclear exactly what Shepherd has said on her show that sparked Long’s reaction.
Nonetheless, it looks like the actress now clapped back at the comedian with a post on Instagram, hinting that she is unbothered with the situation.
