Remy Ma is learning early that stepping into a new lane may come with a cease and desist attached.

Full story below…

As she rolls out her new platform, ‘The Remy Network’, things are already getting off to a legal start after Rick Ross reportedly sent a cease-and-desist over a released project.

According to TMZ, Ross claims the film, originally titled The Biggest Boss’, leans too heavily on his nickname and brand without approval, and he’s pushing to have the project halted.

He also argues the concept could confuse fans into thinking he’s involved.

The film follows a storyline centered around a police officer who flips a drug dealer’s life story into a rap career similar to the real-life story of  Ross.

The movie in question…

There’s also speculation online that the project could be a personal jab, with some suggesting it’s tied to ongoing tension involving Remy’s ex-husband, Papoose, and his connection to Claressa Shields.

The movie has since been pulled, and Remy has reportedly reached out to Ross directly as her team works to make sure everything moving forward is clear and approved on both sides.
