Looks like ‘Snowfall’ is far from over.
For, FX has greenlit a pilot order for the highly anticipated spinoff starring Gail Bean and Isaiah John.

In the new show, Bean will reprise her role as Wanda Bell-Simmons while John will star as Leon Simmons.
According to the pilot’s premise, the spinoff is set in South Central, Los Angeles in the early 90s. It follows Wanda, a recovering drug addict, as she fights to bring West Coast rap to the mainstream. All while trying to navigate the fallout of a deadly gang war.
Created by the late John Singleton, ‘Snowfall’ captured the rise of the crack cocaine epidemic in 1980s Los Angeles. The show followed Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), a young drug kingpin trying to navigate a world filled with fighting for power and control, police/CIA involvement, and enemies.
Seems like this spin-off is going to be full of the ‘Snowfall’ drama everyone loves.
