The streets of Detroit are calling again. BET+ has officially renewed ‘Diarra From Detroit‘ for a second season.

This breakout series, created by and starring Diarra Kilpatrick, took the streaming world by storm.
Fan favorites Bryan Terrell Clark, DomiNque Perry, and Jon Chaffin are all locked in and returning as series regulars.
Aisha Summers Burke, General Manager of BET Studios, didn’t hold back her excitement:
“After an explosive first season that captured hearts and made serious waves with critics, we’re beyond excited to bring Diarra From Detroit back for round two.”
And it’s not just the fans raving critics crowned the show one of the Best TV Shows of 2024.
Executive producer Kenya Barris added:
“Diarra Kilpatrick proved she’s an unstoppable creative force last season—I can’t wait to see how she levels up in season two.”
Though BET+ hasn’t dropped an official premiere date yet, one thing’s for sure: season 2 is coming!
