Tasha Smith recently gave a disheartening update for fans of Tyler Perry‘s beloved ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ film franchise.

Smith, hot on the promo trail for the new season of Netflix’s ‘Survival of the Thickest,’ was quizzed about the third installment of the ‘Married’ series during her visit to ‘The Breakfast Club.’
“Girl, I am not talking about that,” she said jokingly before elaborating, “[It’s] probably not [happening] and it ain’t because I’m busy…Tyler takes what— three days to do a movie? Who ain’t got a weekend, Tyler? I mean, like seriously. Who ain’t got a weekend? Don’t get me started.”
When asked if she would be willing to reprise her role as “Angela” for the hit film if asked, Tasha gave a quick reply.
“Of course, I wanna do it. Why’d [Tyler] troll me like that?” Smith said before shutting down the conversation. “I refuse to answer more questions concerning that.”
Her comments come nearly four months after Perry took to ‘Sherri‘ to confirm he doesn’t think the new chapter of the film franchise will happen.
“I don’t think so. I want to, I want to. But there are a lot of logistics, but hopefully, we can pull it together,” he said in December. “Timing would to fall in place and everything else would have to fall into place.”
