Jussie Smollett let listeners in on a surprising new chapter in his life: he’s ready for fatherhood.

With his long legal battle with the city of Chicago now in the rearview, the ‘Empire’ star is focused on the future, and that future might include a baby.
He recently shared on the ‘Morning Hustle’ radio show and declared:
“I want to have a baby so bad.”
Smollett continued and revealed that, while adoption is definitely on the table, he’s also open to other options, including having a woman carry his biological child.
Naturally, the conversation sparked some questions from the show’s hosts, who asked if Jussie would consider doing things the “old-fashioned way,” alluding to having sex with a woman.
Smollett laughed but didn’t exactly shut it down, especially after a recent run-in with model and TV personality Toccara Jones. “She made me question all of my choices in life,” he joked.
It looks like Jussie’s next role could be “Dad,” and he’s keeping all options open.
