National Geographic is pulling no punches with its latest must-see docuseries, ‘Hurricane Katrina: Race Against Time’ – a powerful five-part deep dive into one of America’s darkest disasters.

Details below…

Executive produced by Ryan Coogler‘s Proximity Media and Lightbox, the series puts survivors front and center – those who lived, lost, and rose amid the chaos. The series uncovers the raw, real-time collapse of systems meant to protect. With gripping archival footage and emotional firsthand accounts, the series rewrites the narrative, giving voice to those who were long silenced.

This isn’t just a history lesson – it’s a gut-check on justice and resilience.

The series premieres July 27 on Nat Geo and streams July 28 on Disney+ and Hulu.

    Chilling.
    So sad.
The government need to put systems in place to protect the disadvantaged.
Then monitor those systems to make sure they are strong.
    Then correct deficiencies.

There will always be thr poor. So we need effective help. Continually . For those in desperate need.

With Mr. Couglar involved I expect a great documentary.

Spike Lee broke the mold in his. Exemplary and bold. It was needed. Thank you Mr. Spike Lee.
