Micheal Ward appeared in a London court today (August 28) for the first hearing in his rape and sexual assault case.
And it saw the ‘Top Boy’ star formalize his stance of innocence.

The 27-year-old arrived at Snaresbrook Crown Court to confirm his name, date of birth, and address during the brief session.
He was granted bail thereafter.
At this juncture, no pleas were entered. That process will take place at an upcoming hearing on September 25.
Ward, who stands accused of carrying out a sexual assault and rape of a Jane Doe in January 2023, declared his innocence upon being charged.
The actor’s bail is conditional on not contacting the accuser.
