Universal Pictures has unveiled a featurette showing Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba performing ‘No Good Deed,’ and both she and Ariana Grande belting the emotional duet ‘For Good’ as rehearsal footage comes to life. Director Jon M. Chu teases darker tones in Act II and reveals brand new songs written for the sequel by composer Stephen Schwartz.
The behind-the-scenes look captures costume fittings, on-set camaraderie, and those intricate Oz sets that feel alive. If this is a preview, the full film arriving on November 21. can’t come soon enough!
