During a recent press run for her new self-titled Netflix documentary, the singer-turned style maven opened up about the struggles she faced building her brand and how her husband, David Beckham, stepped in when things got tough.
Speaking on the Today show this week, Victoria reflected on the highs and lows of her business journey, admitting that her fashion label once came close to collapsing.
She spilled:
“There have been times when the entire business felt like it was falling to pieces,”
“I’m so lucky that David believes in me, especially at a time when a lot of people didn’t.”
David’s belief went beyond words. He invested his own money into Victoria’s company when it was millions of dollars in debt, a move she says ultimately helped keep her dream alive.
