Tamar Braxton is stepping into her acting bag again.
The R&B powerhouse has snagged a major role opposite Taye Diggs in the upcoming thriller ‘Stepfather,’ a joint project between Footage Films and streaming giant Tubi.

Filming is already in motion in Los Angeles, with Chris Stokes directing and co-writing the script alongside Marques Houston.
The tense storyline follows Darnell, played by Diggs, a man obsessed with building the “perfect family” even if it means eliminating the ones who don’t fit. But when he marries Asia, played by Braxton, his new pattern begins to unravel as she and her daughters uncover the truth behind his deadly past.
Set to premiere in 2026, ‘Stepfather’ looks ready to deliver suspense and drama.
