Tragedy has struck the family of Mary Cosby, known to viewers as one of the most headline-making figures on the ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.’
Her son, Robert Cosby Jr., has died at just 23 years old.

According to TMZ, authorities in Salt Lake City responded Monday night to a call regarding a medical emergency involving a 23-year-old man.
What began as a possible overdose call ultimately became a death investigation. An official cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
In a statement, Mary and her husband, Robert Sr. said:
“Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord. Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”
Robert Jr. appeared sporadically on the Bravo series, including a piercing storyline that spotlighted his struggles with substance abuse.

Wow. This is so sad to hear. It’s shocking but, unfortunately, at the same time it’s not. He always seemed like he was at risk in a way. I know Mary is devastated, and inconsolable. May God have mercy on his soul.
