However, with the line-up firmed up and final, it seems to be plainer sailing for ‘Idol.’

Find out when you can catch Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Ryan Seacrest back on the box below…

Taking to social media, Perry – who is banking a $25 million pay check for her services – confirmed March 11th 2018 as the show’s comeback:

The date has come as a surprise to some, who anticipated ‘Idol’ returning within its original airing window of January – May.

With later Spring launch, it’s clear the reboot with be marching to the beat of its own drum.

Folk seem willing to write it off, but we’ll give it a chance. For now.

HONESTLY…this reboot is a waste of everyone’s time and money. NO ONE is going to tune in for this stale program. NO STARS are introduced from this series as of recent years. It’s nothing more than an overly extravagant talent show. It was once the vessel through which real celebs and songstresses were born. It was a terrible idea to put this franchise back into fruition.
