Having kept a relatively low profile amidst ample legal drama, the actor has returned to the spotlight with his new film project, ‘B-Boy Blues.’

Streaming now on BET+, the movie is billed as a compelling re-telling of James Earl Hardy’s novel about a same-sex romance.

Speaking with TGJ’s Archie Jay, Smollett expanded on the importance of the flick, shaking off anxiety, and more.

After a deliciously scandalous end to its critically acclaimed inaugural season, Tyler Perry‘s juicy drama ‘All the Queen’s Men’ is back to deliver an even more action-packed follow-up via its highly anticipated season 2.

Cop a gander of the first look at ‘Hocus Pocus 2.’

Serving as the sequel to 1993’s ‘Hocus Pocus,’ the new film reunites the original witches Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy – all of whom will reprise their original roles as The Sanderson Sisters.

29 years have passed since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century siblings and they are seeking revenge. Now it is up to three high-schoolers to stop the crafty crew from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.

Jennifer Hudson‘s multidimensional career is set for its next chapter with the launch of the star’s daytime series, ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show.’

Set to premiere on Fox stations on September 12, J.Hud’s foray into the talk sphere comes following her historic ordination as an EGOT winner

Speaking on what her show – which is being helmed by the team behind ‘Ellen’ – will be serving up, Hudson said:

“Nothing makes me happier than to see everybody shine and know that they have a light within them. On ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show,’ you’re going to get quality, you’re going to get honesty, you’re going to get all of my heart, and don’t forget the fun. We’re going to have a lot of fun.”

Fans of Netflix’s breakout series ‘Bridgerton’ may have bemoaned the unexpected exit of star Regé-Jean Page at the conclusion of its first season, but they were given a glimmer of hope this week when he posted a photo of himself in Milan alongside former castmate Jonathan Bailey for the city’s Fashion Week.

Instantly setting the rumor mill ablaze with murmurs of Page’s return to the 19th century-set drama, the hoopla got so loud it eventually garnered a mention from the 30-year-old himself.

Nearly 15 years after BET first ended the six-season run of its HBCU-based reality series ‘College Hill,’ the network has revived the series with a celebrity twist.

The eight-episode TV venture, which features NeNe Leakes, Ray J, Lamar Odom, DreamDoll, India Love, Big Freedia, Stacey Dash, and Slim Thug, will send its celebrity stars to school at Texas Southern University as students hoping to finish their education and expand their academic horizons. Also living together in dorms, the celebs must work to complete a specialty certificate program.

While we wait to see who crosses the graduation stage, hop inside to see the drama set to unfold ahead of the reimagined show’s June 27 premiere on BET+.

Today sees the return of the hit Netflix series ‘The Umbrella Academy’ for its third season.

All the familiar faces are back along with a handful of new ones.

In season 3, after putting a stop to 1963’s doomsday, the Umbrella Academy journey to the present day, expecting to celebrate. However, they quickly realize nothing is how they left it. Enter the Sparrow Academy, who clash with the Umbrellas in a violent face-off that turns out to be the least of everyone’s concerns.
