Last week, the singer/actress Rita Ora took to Twitter to announce that she would release new music from her forthcoming US debut album if a message she posted on the website received 100,000 retweets.

An easy task when one considers the star’s 4 million followers, right? Wrong.

For, after said message only scored 2,000 retweets, it soon emerged that Ora hadn’t been behind the original message at all, hacked by a someone who seems to have hoped to leak hew new material…with her own account.

Today, the entertainment website ‘BuzzFeed‘ have revealed just why the hacker had been an unsuccessful in his or her leaking endeavours.

As viewers of TV One’s ‘Hollywood Divas’ will already know, the show’s first season has followed five African-American actresses as they join forces to create a movie they hope will restore (or hand them) the notoriety their talent makes them deserving of.

These actresses being Golden Brooks of ‘Girlfriends‘, Countess Vaughn of ‘Moesha‘ and ‘The Parkers’, ‘The Proud Family’s Paula Jai Parker and  ex- ‘Real Housewife of Atlanta’ Lisa Wu.

Alas, we doubt the sweet smell of success they enjoyed many moons ago can mask the stench that rises from their movie ‘The White Sistas‘, seeking to tell a story of revenge, betrayal and murder…but now appears to have turned into a comedy.

Proving that she’s more than capable of carrying her own Reality TV show last night was R&B singer K. Michelle, rocking her fans’ worlds with the premiere of her very own series ‘K. Michelle: My Life.’

Filled to the brim with humour, drama, fashion and music, the show sees the rising star pen an exciting new chapter in the story of her life, doing so with a little help from friends just as interesting as she is.

TGJ’s score of the show? 10 out of 10.

However, what did the viewers at home have to say about the show on social media?

Times are a-changing over at ‘Bravo.’

Yes, before the November 9th unlocking of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s seventh cycle, a report has emerged claiming the network has implemented new rules set to make life harder for every ‘Wife’ in the ‘Real’ family…but all the more enjoyable for their viewers.

Why the demotion of ‘Atlanta’s Porsha Williams may now make sense to those who opposed it?

Primetime Deion Sanders, despite his larger than life persona and occasional third person reference, is a strikingly candid, down to earth man – if our advanced screening of ‘Deion’s Family Playbook’ is anything to go by. He values his mother, girlfriend Tracy Edmonds, and most of all his “babies” as he affectionately refers to his 10 children (some adopted) he currently raises as a single father.

A black, solo parent who contradicts the readily available media representations chalk full of pathologies and
cliche’s of the hood. Though ironically cliched in itself, Sanders views this reality show as an “opportunity to demonstrate strong black fatherhood.” He says its’ a “tightrope” between giving them the silver spoon he didn’t have while still wanting his sons to be “dawgz”. That perhaps is what is most compelling component about ‘Deion’s Family Playbook’ in the sea of reality shows rehearsing tired stereotypes in an effort to ignite careers, sell records, and wig lines; it’s surprisingly honest.

If there is a product being sold, it would be that of family, football, and the old African adage that “it takes a village to raise a child.” Sanders says he keeps his kids grounded through example. Traits such as “picking up trash when no one is looking” are important to Sanders because he knows kids don’t take things for granted; they must be shown. It isn’t an entire Cosby episode however, there is plenty of conflict, drama, and laughs in this playbook. Moments of interest include a scandal with Deion’s TRUST Academy, his daughter’s adjustment to her parents divorce, and Shiloh’s musical possible collaboration with Snoop Dogg.

The second season of ‘Deion’s Family Playbook’ premiers on OWN November 1st 9:00 pm ET.
